Helene Holiday Fund
December 18, 2024
We love our small town of Black Mountain, and our hearts ached at the idea that our favorite local businesses were struggling after taking a loss for the month of October.
We also recognized the round the clock efforts of our local first responders, public workers, and disaster relief workers. Thus, the Helene Holiday Fund was born! The idea was to buy up gift cards from businesses in Black Mountain, and give them away to those working tirelessly to rebuild our region.
We’re incredibly honored to say that, thanks to your generosity and support, we were able to raise $60,000 to buy gift cards from local businesses, and bless our first responders and relief workers just in time for the holidays! This included a stay at a local boutique hotel, a brunch at some of our favorite spots, and a dinner in town. We couldn’t have done this without the help of people like you. Thank you!
